Tools and Hardware Reviews of Delta Faucet 75580 In2ition 2-in-1 Handshower and Showerhead SystemCustomer Review: No pressure!!! Summary: 1 Stars
Are...you...kidding...me!?
So, one would assume that if you're looking for a two-head showerhead, you're probably getting a little upset at the government's regulation of showerheads and the 2.5 gpm restriction. You might think that this product--with its TWO heads--might result in 5 gpm, so that you can get a halfway decent shower.
WRONG!!!
You have two heads trickling water at you at 2.5 gpm TOTAL. Yes, there's a regulator in there that actually makes sure that you don't get too much out of both showerheads at the same time. And then there's another regulator on the remote shower head, just to keep water restricted even further.
Look carefully at the photo included with product--the only one where water's coming out. That is NOT high pressure coming out--the water is making a low arc. You might think that the photo was taken under low pressure conditions for the sake of elegance, but that's actually what you'll be experiencing with your magnificent Delta dual-headed shower.
TIP IF YOU ARE GOING TO KEEP THE PRODUCT AND ARE DISSATISFIED.
You can override the regulator within the 'remote' showerhead--the one you can hold in your hand. Simply disassemble it from hose, and you'll see a grey screen to catch debris. This is a redundant screen--there's one on the 'source' as well where the shower head screws on to water piping in your home. If you look behind this screen, you'll find the water regulator behind it.
In the old days, you could pull these regulators out with pliers, etc... No more. The government and/or Delta doesn't trust you. Instead, you literally have to DRILL it out with an electric drill. put on a 1/8" drill bit on an electric drill--preferrably one designed to burrow into walls, etc..., and drill straight through the mesh along the path of the water.
Within about 5-10 seconds of effort, the regulator will be chewed to pieces and should fall out harmlessly. You'll notice a substantial increase in water flow to that one particular head. The main showerhead is essentially unserviceable--I took the whole thing apart, and you really can't tamper with that regulator without seriously damaging yoru showerhead.
The short story is, don't buy this product. If you did and are stuck with it, please do yourself a favor and take a drill to it so that you can get at least some water out of it.
Customer Review: Disappointed Summary: 1 Stars
I had done a lot of research before ordering this product. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Firstly, the showerhead looks cheap and nasty, and is made of sub-standard materials. Secondly, it leaks despite all efforts to the contrary. I have already returned it and received my refund. I am amazed that a company like Delta puts their name on such a product. It needs a complete re-working, including aesthetics and function. If you do order this product, I hope your experience is better.
Customer Review: Cheap Summary: 1 Stars
This shower head was terrible! Looks VERY cheap, big and bulky, very little water pressure. I sent back after about a week and went with another brand.
