Tools and Hardware Reviews of Delta Faucet 75580 In2ition 2-in-1 Handshower and Showerhead SystemCustomer Review: GREAT SHOWER HEAD!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the third shower head we've bought this year. Though it wasn't the most expensive, it's by far the best. Easy to install, too. I would highly recommend!
Customer Review: Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
I love it! It was up & running in 5 minutes.. ! The controls are great, easy to use.. would recommend this product highly!
Customer Review: Does the job just right Summary: 4 Stars
The installation took no more than 30 minutes, very easy to put together. The build quality seems to be very good and looks good as well. It has a nice lever on the right side of it to choose between handle, head, or both. There is a notch to place the shier handle into the head and it works really well. It doesn't take much effort to remove or attach the handle.
The shower head is large and sprays a wide ring, which is nice for full body coverage. The handle has 5 settings of different types, I haven't really played with those, and I just keep it at the default water ring.
The water pressure is great coming from either one or both. The packaging states that the handle and head will use 2.5 gallons of water per minute. I would imagine that it would be more if you are using both at the same time.
I give it a 4 star due to some leaking at the shower head to handle connection. I just hand tightened the connection, I didn't know how much pressure this would take before it cracked or broke, so I tightened it little by little until the water stopped leaking. I used Teflon tape on all connections. The hose will not tangle which is good. But because it wouldn't tangle, it takes up room.
Customer Review: Cool product but novelty wears off quickly Summary: 4 Stars
What made me decide to purchase this product was the outstanding number of possibilities. Using both head and wand together gave the widest coverage and largest volume, while switching to the head or wand alone conserves water. In practice, the choices were more than what I needed. I rarely used the high-power massage modes or the shower head, which are too strong for infants.
On the shower wand, the two modes which I most frequently used, Trickle and Steady flow, are on the opposite ends of the switch/ring. Like other reviewers, I found that it is difficult to twist even after learning the proper techniques.
Two things would have made this product better: 1) If the ring allowed a full 360 (1-2-3-4-5-1), so that Trickle is more accessible. 2) If the head contained a variable flow switch, that would duplicate the Trickle mode of the shower wand.
I used the In2ition for about 3 months. I've replaced it with a shower wand that has the features I now want, namely the variable flow switch and a built-in shut off when the water becomes too hot. Search Google or Amazon for "antiscald" to find it.
Customer Review: Very convenient, lots of water, some design flaws Summary: 4 Stars
We love the idea, and have enjoyed using it. Overall, it works very well. The two flaws:
1) The fitting at the end of the hose did not seal at all, not even close. The threads sealed but the hose-connector area would spray a lot. I tried repositioning it many times, cranking it down with a wrench, everything I could. My guess is mine was assembled without some gasket, because there is no way this could be normal. I finally wrapped the end of the hose in teflon tape and this made a gasket which sealed it up.
2) The shower head is really large, even more than we thought it would be, so it is a bit fugly.
The amount of water, while I didn't measure it, is enough that my tankless water heater now can not keep up sometimes. I had an older shower head which I had drilled out, and increased the water flow, and it gave out less water than this one. Make sure you have enough water pressure and a good enough supply of hot water if you are going to use this product.
When installing, hand tighten only is fine, but wrap everything, even the ends of the hose, in teflon tape.
