Customer Review: Would buy again if I had another shower
Summary: 5 Stars

I did a lot of research looking for shower heads. I wanted something that was low flow, but yet gave me great pressure equal to or better than a regular shower head. This shower head is it. The first time I used it I was impressed by the amount of pressure - it really feels like a regular shower head - not to mention the nice flow of water in terms of the stream pattern. We had been using an old water pik that was here when we bought our house. The stream pattern was terrible throwing water out the shower stall doors towards the toilet and all over the floor. According to my husband, the delta was easy to install. We put in a diverter that let's us turn off the shower head when using a hand held for cleaning saving us both water and money. (about $20 more) If we had another shower in the house, I would buy another H20 Kinetic amplifying head. I will certainly be telling all of my friends doing home repairs about this. Considering I now know for sure how great of a shower head it is, I would pay more if I had to for a second - but luckily with Amazon it's a great price in the $20 dollar range.

Customer Review: Great Shower Head
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this shower head based on the reviews (which seem great). It installed in just a couple minutes with no leaks. Cranked it up and was amazed by the flow and I find it hard to believe that this is a low-flow device. We were so pleased with this one that we have since bought and installed two more.

My only gripe is that I honestly cannnot tell which "setting" on the shower head is the low flow setting. It would be nice if the instructions pointed this out. In fact, I have them all set to the "back facing" position (ie: pointing towards the wall) as that seemed like the "efficient" position ... in my estimation. Now looking back at the reviews, I see that someone points out that the efficient setting is the position shown in the picture (ie: pointing out in the direction of the water flow). I've now switched them over to that setting. Both settings provide a GREAT shower. I don't know if our water pressure is high, low or normal ... but I do know that we love this shower head. And for the cost, it's a great bargain.

Customer Review: An excellent choice.

If you live in an apartment, take my advice. Keep your old shower head. Why? So that when you move you can take this little beauty with you. Chances are, you'll want to keep this one with you wherever you move as long as it lasts.
At the turn of a switch, it changes between two modes of operation.
1) Default mode: A strong but gentle torrent of water. Rather than cutting the stream into about 10 or 30 smaller ones and 'dispersing' them in a ring like many shower heads, this one breaks it down into hundreds of well scattered streams that drench you evenly and thoroughly.

2) Scrub mode: Breaking the streams down even further, this mode trades stream size for velocity. The end result, a high powered spray of tiny streams that blast away soap and dirt quickly and evenly. While this mode can actually sting you if you keep it focused on your skin, it's perfect for getting down to the scalp when rinsing your hair. Once again the dispersal pattern is even rather than just wide.

A solid long term investment and money well spent.

Customer Review: Enjoying Showers Again
Summary: 5 Stars

When looking for a new showerhead, I was not trying to be eco friendly. I wanted strength. I live in an apartment with low-flow (1.7 gal/min) showerheads standard. 1.7 sounds nice but I was not saving any water because it took me 2x as long to get the soap off of my body/hair. I was looking for a showerhead that I could remove the restrictor on to get back to a full strength and fast shower. Then I saw the reviews for this showerhead.
After reading reviews (and making sure I could remove the restrictor - just in case), I bought this one. I installed it out of the box because I wanted to see how good it was before I messed with it. Wow, I was impressed. I am back to fast showers with no soapy residue left on my body. 2.5 gal/min is great for rinsing and the 1.8 gal/min is perfect for "soaping up".
Pros: Appearance, Strength of flow, Ability to adjust flow mid shower, feels like a massage, Price.
Cons: Creates more steam than average showerheads, Tends to "blow" my shower curtain toward me while showering (due to its use of air?).

Customer Review: pretty, pretty....pretty good.

I'm a 30 gallon a minute guy. Maybe more.

I want the sting of the high pressure nozzle.

I want to be wasteful. I do not care, just want to enjoy my shower. It is perhaps the best thing that will happen to me on any given day.....But.....

.....Times change and we need to be concerned about waste, yes?

This shower head does a pretty good job of making me satisfied but still feeling I've done my part to save water.

You can hear the sound of "savings" even when you have it turned to the highest setting. But it still (kinda)stings when on high and you have a quasi-sense of fulfulment after your shower.

To be blunt, it is worth the bux and you'll probably be quite happy with it (as I am)even though it doesn't sting you to death and waste gallons of water and wake you up....It kinda mushes-you.....An acceptable feeling in 2009.

Go ahead and click 'buy', you'll be as happy as one can be with our present shower head selections. It's worth the $. Trust me.
