We replaced our shower head after it had become all stopped up with water deposits.
This shower head looks good and performs well.
At first I was wondering if the little lever that controls the shower head was working, but it does. There are basically two positions, one for low flow and the other for medium flow.
The low flow feels "economical" as the water is just enough to take a shower (however you'll be happy your saving money on hot water).
The medium flow has reasonable power which is for people who like a strong shower or if you've had a muddy day outside and you really want to get cleaned up in a hurry.
A few minor observations is that the shower head can give off some strange noises that sounds like a dog moaning - I expect this to go away as sediment coats the inside of the shower head.
Another observation is that when you screw this shower head on your shower, there is no "knurled" surface to hold onto, so you really have to do it by hand. However, I only lightly screwed the shower head in, using new teflon tape on the threads and it didn't leak at all.
If you get really close to the shower you can feel all the little pulses of each shower head. Whatever amplifying this thing is doing is for real. The shower head really makes the most of the flow.
So, I would recommend this shower head without reservation. We will probably save money on hot water, and enjoy the great performance of this shower head.

This is my first review on Amazon. After years of enjoying reading others peoples views on products I felt thats its time to repay to the Amazon community and give my own opinion on a product I bought. Since I was the type of person who liked to read straight to the point reviews without the techie points that I don't even understand I will also try to be to the point. Okay, enough said.
I bought this Shower Head due in large part to the good views on this product and as it turns out they did not disappoint. It took me under a minute to uninstall my old shower head and install this one and no one will ever accuse me of being handy. The water pressure is great. I use the lower level pressure flow because I felt the higher level was too strong and too prickly for my liking. Before getting this shower head we always had problems with the hot water suddenly getting cold and then extremely hot. With this shower head the swings between hot and cold happen less frequently and are much less pronounced. Don't ask me why. My wife loves it and she is more picky then me. However, one slight issue I have is that sometimes I would like the option of just having a softer rain shower type flow but I guess you can't have everything especially given the very economical price.
Bottom Line: Good Water Pressure. Sturdy. Economically Priced. My Wife Loves it! (Main Attribute). Energy Efficient (Not that I care)

I have great water pressure and was looking for a showerhead to replace my existing "tankertruck per minute" showerheads in both bathrooms.
After reviewing some of the less-favorable comments about these showerheads, I decided to purchase one only. It took only a few minutes and a pipe wrench and thread tape to install it. When I turned on the water, I didn't notice a difference between my old water guzzling head and the new one. The adjustment on the side of the head works fine. I notice a difference between the two settings.
I checked my old head before the purchase and found it delivered approximately 35 gallons per minute. The new showerhead, at 1.85 gallons per minute is GREAT! I didn't feel any stinging. I didn't get any perceived loss of water with the new showerhead. The showerhead is rugged and has no leaks. I don't know why some people here said the spray is too thin or direct. The showerhead seems to have a good wide spray. We used to have a showerhead that drops the water straight down from above. This new showerhead sprays the water towards you from the front instead of from above. I noticed I take shorter showers since the water sprayed from the showerhead has good force.
I ordered a second showerhead for my second bathroom and I am quite happy with both of the showerheads. Like others here, I haven't got a water bill yet to see how much savings I have. But I am sure it will cost a lot less to take a shower.

This is a great shower head that I am very satisfied with. It was affordable & MUCH better than the other shower head that was on my shower (not sure what brand it was etc. because I'm really not into brand names, just what works well). This shower head has two settings, some may find the higher strength even a bit too harsh but after a few streams of water trickeling down to the point where I had to stand under the shower way more than I should have just to wet & shampoo my hair with my old one I leave mine on the higher setting & my shower time is cut in half. Most will probably be satisfied with even the lighter setting. To make a long story short, it's a great shower head that lives up to all it's descriptions listed. It does swivel just to let people know. The description doesn't say anything about needing extra things to instal it but you are going to need tape but it's cheap so go to the hardware store or order the Mr. Gasket 2842G Teflon Tape pictured on this page because you will need it. It took about a minute to instal & I'm not very "mechanically inclined" so that is a great thing too. What else can I say? If you are looking for a more massaging shower head then buy something else because this one really isn't for that purpose but it does not say that in the description either. I just can't believe some people would give this a 1 star review, it is just a basic & normal shower head that does exactly as described.Customer Review: Great Price, Works Perfectly, Easy Install

I purchased this showerhead for our downstairs bathroom. The landlord installed a water-saving unit, which when combined with low water pressure, made this shower basically unusable.
We now take all of our showers under this wonderful unit. The flow of water after installing the Delta is the perfect amount for rinsing out shampoo and conditioner, something the previous unit could never do. The volume control lever is perfect for conserving hot water, by allowing you to decrease the flow while applying soap then increasing to rinse. For the price, it's obviously not made of metal, but it is well made and assembled. I'm very glad I purchased this unit.
INSTALLATION:
I had never replaced a shower head before, but installing this unit took less than 5 minutes. All you need is a pair of adjustable pliers, duct tape, and sealing tape. Wrap a small lengths of duct tape around the teeth of the pliers, unscrew the old unit using the pliers, remove any old sealing tape or material from the threads of the shower, apply the new sealing tape (under a dollar at any hardware store), and screw on the new unit. Test the new unit for leaks and you're done.
Highly recommended if you want a well performing showerhead for the best possible price with easy installation. The unit was delivered to me a full 3 days sooner than I expected and was in perfect condition.
