The DELTA 50-941 Mobile Base is constructed with heavy-gauge steel that allows you to transport and reposition your heaviest stationary equipment with ease. The rolling base includes a foot-operated control pedal that lowers and raises the base and its cargo for easy movement, positioning, and storage. I bought this base for the Delta Hybrid tablesaw. It is very similar to the design I bought a decade ago for my bandsaw and that has held up very well.
The new base has a better 'lift' mechanism but it is the same sturdy and stable product. It is solid, thick welded steel with no significant assembly required.
The tablesaw, as mentioned by other reviewers, is a bit too small to fit this base. It is a simple matter to cut wooden spacers to make a tight fit. Even with the extended side table mounted to the saw, it lifts and drops easily, sits solid when down and is very maneuverable.
I did buy this at Hechingers paying less than half the Amazon price. I love Amazon but not that much.
